Aragonit cavern - Ochtiná is situated on the northwest side of the Horny Hrádok, i. e. between Jelšava and Štítnik in land - register of Ochtiná district. It was discovered in 1954 by miners during making gallery. The cavern with 300 m length was rose by chemical activities of atmospheric water, by extension of leaks and interlayer cervices in primitive mountains of crystalline limestones thereabouts contact with ankerit solid.
