Hana Meličková (27th January 1900 in Martin - died on 7.th January 1978 in Bratislava) - actress, she was awarded the title of National Artist in 1961. From 1926 until 1976 she was a member of the Slovak National Theatre, with an interruption in the period 1939 -1946.
