At the Sběratel Praha Fair held on 5 September 2026, Slovenská pošta (Slovak Post) was honoured with two awards in the Praga Ars Philatelica competition—the International Competition for the Most Beautiful Stamp in the World. These accolades stand as a testament to the excellence and quality of our philatelic work.

In the Engraved Miniature Sheet category, Slovak Post secured first place for the postage stamp issue “Personalities of the Slovak National Theater.” The sheetlet was designed and engraved by Rudolf Cigánik. Furthermore, in the Engraved Stamp category, we achieved third place with the stamp “Nature Protection: The Collection of Butterflies in the Museum of Central Slovakia, Banská Bystrica,” designed by Karol Felix and engraved by Jozef Česla.

The Sběratel Praha Fair, one of the most significant collecting events in Europe, once again served as a premier gathering for philatelists, collectors, and experts from numerous countries. The event notably included the announcement of the results for the international Praga Ars Philatelica competition, which highlights the most beautiful postage stamps from around the globe.
