Since 1999, Slovenská pošta, a.s., has made the mysterious pre-Christmas period even more exciting for children and adults with their exceptional project, the Christmas Mail. For a quarter of a century, children have been able to send letters or postcards with their Christmas wishes to the Baby Jesus at the address “Ježiško 999 99”, complete with a drawing. Since 2013, the artwork sent by children have been the theme of a postage stamp and FDC, which are released as a special issue.
