For issue "Christmas '99" were used children's creative works, which participated in a competition of postage stamp work. This competition was organized by the Slovak Post in 1997 in cooperation with "Union of the Slovak Philatelists" and with schools and libraries. At this competition participated children of primary and maternal schools and also artistic schools. Plantifully represented was a group of children's works, which had participated in the competition of creative proposal for postage stamp, which is organized every year by the "Union of the Slovak Philatelists" in Detva.
