Flowers aesthetically decorate many gardens. Flowers are among the most brightly coloured of all living things. The exquisite beauty, colour and perfume of flowers have inspired artists and poets for centuries. A stamp depicting flower is to commemorate joyous occasions, greetings and congratulations. The issue called flower serves as a postage stamp and presents a beautiful and magnificent flower – Lilium Royal Parade. It comes from the group Lilium and produces pleasantly scented, white and pink oriental flowers with small dark-pink spots. It blooms in August. On the FDC is an artistic drawing of Lilium Royal Parade and oriental Lilium Ascari. This hybrid produces attractive pink, bowl-shaped flowers with yellow inner part. This plant has a spicy scent and blooms in August.
