PostEurop - organization of European postal operators, which is proposing themes for the mutual extemalization within the framework of emission line "EUROPA" for postal messages of Europe, suggested a small change for the year 2000. Emission "EUROPA 2000" expressed the common theme that it should be by a joint united proposal which would symbolically unite the postal messages ans express the idea of Integration of Europe through the united edition itself. Edition of the stamps on the same day, on May 9, should be a remembrance of the historical Schuman declaration from 1950, which laid the base of European Union. Competition organized in various European countries with the means of common edition, won the proposal of French artist, J.-P.Cousin. The proposal symbolically expressed the idea of integration as well as the idea of mutual act, and together head towards new heights. Stars were configured symbolizing individual countries and the mutual construction to the top in the future. Reproduction of this proposal edited by 44 postal administrations of Europe in individual editions is written in several language mutations with very little differences in the text and other inconsequential differences. Stamp emission "EUROPA 2000" is a very unique case from this point of view.
