Panurus biarmicus Distinguished singing bird, bound in extensive reed vegetation. Panurus biarmicus is characterized by it's long gradual tail. The cock has a striking black strip in front of the head, so-called "bristle". It appears in our country from spring-time till autumn, it can pass the winter rarely. In the summer-time the couples stick together, but in other seasons they live in flocks. They make couples for whole life. Panurus biarmicus nest twice a year, from April till June.
