The Scout Movement is a voluntary, nonpolitical, educational movement for young people, open to all without distinction of origin, race or creed, in accordance with the purpose, principles and methods set by Robert Baden-Powell, the Founder of the Scout Movement. The first Slovak scout troops were established in spring 1919. 75* anniversary of foundation of Slovak Scouting was celebrated in 1944. 18'h World Jamboree will be held on August 1995 in Netherlands.
