Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava (BIB) was first held in 1967. It is the largest non-commercial event of its kind in the world, presenting the original works of books for children and youth in a competitive way. The BIB International Jury awards 11 prizes – Grand Prix BIB, five BIB Golden Apples and five BIB Plaques.
