Born on February 2, 1963, Andrej Kiska graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. He is married and has four children. After completing his studies, he was working as a designer in the company Naftoprojekt in Poprad. In order to try his luck, Andrej Kiska left for the USA in 1990.
