© Slovak Post, 2006 Jozef Cincík – a visual artist, illustrator, graphic designer, art historian, stage designer, editor, and university professor - was born on March 8, 1909 at his parents’ adopted abode of Clopodia, Romania. After the family returned to Slovakia in 1914, he attended the elementary schools in Kláštor pod Znievom and Trnava, Lučenec grammar school, and Charles University in Prague where he graduated in law.
